Change is coming, an environmental change, economic change and a demographic change. Hopefully, a democratic change as well. Most of the choices concerning the commune or the community of communes (CCHLEM) have been made since 2020 were made without a real popular support, neither from professionals nor the associations.
The reason? Careless elected officials disconnected from the actual issues of the commune. For example: vegetation planting, the whole rubbish deposit points (PAV) debacle, car traffic urban planning left incomplete, the deplorable state of the stadium locker rooms...
What solutions? a neighbourly attitude, measured ambition, practical thinking, open door policy, transparency and humility.
Our vow is both personal and collective. We are a team in the image of the local people, of various our ages, backgrounds and origins.
We are aware that our foreign friends and neighbours, especially our British residents will not be allowed to vote for these elections. To us, this doesn’t matter; to us, you matter and you are part of our community.
Our collective ambition: for everybody, every professional, for all the voices to be heard and supported. Only together shall we rebuild Le Dorat.
