Daniel-Odon, 62 years young, historian, head of research at CNRS (National Scientific Research Center), but also musician. I’ve been living in Le Dorat since 2014.
The heritage of this small city with character dictated the choice to move here; the presence of a train station as well as many services, be they public or private (schools, post office, banks, health services), essential goods and services also motivated our decision; the city being rich in its diverse association life, all year long, and filled with many individual initiatives.
This is what we aim to preserve and develop!
Councillor since 2022, I understand implicitly the absolute necessity for answers when it comes to the inhabitants’ expectations, to grow projects for our day to day life from a collective expertise: our living environment, caring for everyone, intergenerational support, tourist reception, access to the shops, health services, culture and sports...
My leitmotiv: put the common good first, for our community; which hasn’t always been the done in the past six years.
